มิติหุ้น – Living Longer, Living Better: True Corporation Empowers Next-Gen Innovators to Tackle Thailand’s Super-Aged Society,  Selecting Five Finalists for “True Innovation Launchpad 2026”, Accelerating Ideas into Practical Innovations for Healthy Aging

As Thailand rapidly moves toward a super-aged society, the challenge is no longer simply how to help people “live longer”, but how to enable everyone to “live longer in good health.” True Corporation, through True LAB, together with the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), or NIA, and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), launched “True Innovation Launchpad 2026” under the theme “Healthy Longevity Tech for Super-Aged Society.” The program invited university students to take on future challenges and develop technologies and innovations that improve the quality of life of older adults. It attracted more than 945 participants from 37 universities nationwide and generated 203 ideas. Five finalist teams have now been selected to receive funding and advance to an intensive prototype-development phase before returning to demonstrate their solutions at the Final Pitching and Innovation Showcase Day in December 2026.

When One in Three Thais Will Be Older Adults: The Lifespan vs. Healthspan Challenge

Today, more than 20% of Thailand’s population is aged 60 or older, placing the country second in ASEAN after Singapore. By 2030, nearly one in three people in Thailand is expected to be an older adult. At the same time, families are becoming smaller, the working-age population is shrinking, and the burden of chronic diseases and long-term care is increasing. The key challenge is therefore not simply to extend lifespan, but to extend healthspan, the period of life in which people remain healthy, independent, and able to enjoy a good quality of life.

This is the driving idea behind True Innovation Launchpad 2026: Healthy Longevity Tech for Super-Aged Society, a platform that gives the next generation an opportunity to use ideas and technology to create innovations for older adults, caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals across five key challenge areas: Better Living to enhance everyday life; Preventing to reduce health risks before illness occurs; Early Diagnosing to detect abnormalities sooner; Treating & Continuity to connect treatment with continuous care; and Health Literacy & Empowerment to strengthen people’s knowledge and ability to care for themselves. The goal is to help reduce inequalities in access to healthcare and make “quality aging” possible for everyone.

Dr. Warangkana Adisornprasert, Head of True LAB, True Corporation Plc., said, “True Corporation is committed to using our capabilities in digital technology and innovation to create benefits for society while helping address major challenges facing the country. These challenges require collaboration across sectors, especially the power of the next generation, who bring creativity, technological understanding, and fresh perspectives to the issues society is facing. True Innovation Launchpad 2026 by True LAB was therefore created as a platform that connects knowledge and expertise from the business sector, academia, and the innovation ecosystem, giving young people the opportunity to build on ideas inspired by real-world challenges and develop them into prototypes and solutions with potential. This year’s theme, ‘Healthy Longevity Tech for Super-Aged Society’, reflects a proactive approach to the aging-society challenge as Thailand prepares for a major demographic shift that will have broad implications for the healthcare system, the economy, families, and the workforce. The program is another platform of opportunity for the next generation to create new approaches that improve the quality of life of older adults and develop innovations that create tangible value for society.”

Five Finalist Teams Emerge from a Tough Selection to Build Innovations that Could Transform the Future of Aging in Thailand

From 203 ideas submitted to the competition, the judging panel selected five finalist teams to receive funding for innovation development and take their ideas forward into solutions designed for real-world use:

  1. CS-M Tool – Chulalongkorn University
The team is developing an AI-powered platform that screens for early-stage heart disease risk by analyzing heart sounds through a stethoscope and an application. The system can assess risk within 20 seconds, helping expand access to heart-disease surveillance and screening in local communities.
  2. InSight Out – Mahidol University The team is developing CheeCare, an AI platform that analyzes urine-test results from photographs submitted through LINE and converts the results into easy-to-understand health guidance, helping users monitor and prevent health problems from an early stage.
  3. W.I.S.P.E.R. – Mahidol University The team is developing a digital stethoscope that uses AI to analyze lung sounds and assess the risk of respiratory diseases, helping detect abnormalities at an early stage while supporting remote care.
  4. HackKaTui – Prince of Songkla University
The team is developing TrueCare Signal, an AI-powered preventive-health platform that monitors the well-being of older adults through mobile phones and LINE, analyzes changes from their normal behavioral patterns, and alerts family members so they can step in before health problems become more serious.
  5. Innosenses – Rangsit University, Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, Silpakorn University, and Dhurakij Pundit University The team is developing “Yiam Puen”, an AI assistant for Village Health Volunteers (VHVs). It supports conversations, risk screening, data collection, and health-report summarization during home visits, helping identify risks earlier and refer older adults into the healthcare system in time for treatment.

The five teams will now enter a 12-week prototype-development period, supported by guidance from business and technology experts to turn their ideas into prototypes with real potential for further development. They will return to present their final work on 16 December 2026. Follow the journey and cheer on the teams as the competition progresses.
