Mitihoon – Generali Thailand recently held a Town Hall to welcome senior executives from the Generali Group and Generali Asia under the theme “People Powered Excellence.” The event aimed to communicate the Company’s business direction, corporate strategy, and growth targets for 2026 to employees, while fostering confidence and inspiring everyone to work together in driving the organization towards sustainable excellence. The event reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to placing people at the heart of its business, recognizing employees as the key driving force behind sustainable growth across every dimension.
Mr. Arsh Kaumi, Country Manager & CEO of Generali Thailand, welcomed the senior executives and shared the Company’s vision and business direction, focusing on strengthening distribution channel growth while enhancing customer experience, developing employee capabilities, and fostering a culture of excellence under the “Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence” strategy. As a lifetime partner committed to supporting customers and business partners through every stage of life, he also emphasized the importance of collaboration among all employees in driving the organization towards sustainable growth.
Mr. Andrew Samaratunge, Chief Financial Officer of Generali Thailand, provided an update on the Company’s business performance and overall growth during the first half of the year, covering the period from January to May 2026. The update reflected the growth trajectory of both the life and non-life insurance businesses, while also sharing perspectives on business management to strengthen sustainable long-term growth. Meanwhile, Ms. Yuwadee Ngantaweekit, Chief Commercial Officer of Generali Thailand, shared insights under the theme “People Powered Excellence,” presenting approaches to building trust and strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders through effective collaboration, enhanced operational standards, and continuous organizational development to achieve sustainable excellence.
The event was also honoured by the presence of senior executives from the Generali Group and Generali Asia, including Mr. Pierre Martelly, Board of Directors of Generali Thailand, Mr. Vinay Dhareshwar, Board of Directors of Generali Thailand, Ms. Patricia Espirito Santo, Group Head of People & Organization of Insurance Regions, Country Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal and Ms. Carole Zhu, Chief People & Organization Officer, Asia. They shared their perspectives on building an Excellence Culture to inspire employees and reinforce the importance of a people-powered organizational culture as a fundamental driver of long-term growth. They also presented awards recognizing teams and employees who have played key roles in driving the organization forward, reflecting achievements across innovation, sustainability, organizational culture, and teamwork. The awards included the AI Cross Functional Programs Award, 1st Asia Sustainability Award (Gold Award), Championship Win by Our Generali Football Team, and the Great Place to Work® Certification 2026.
