Mitihoon – Bangchak Group Pays Tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha. Supporting the Friends in Need (of “Pa”) Volunteers Foundation Royal Kitchen, Collecting Used Cooking Oil for SAF Production, and Providing Inthanin Beverages to Officials and Volunteers During the Royal Merit-Making Ceremonies
Bangchak Group humbly pays tribute to the boundless royal benevolence of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, Krom Luang Rajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhida by supporting the operations of the Royal Kitchen of the Friends in Need (of “Pa”) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society. The Group has provided Bangchak fuel cards for the Foundation’s mobile kitchen vehicles, arranged for the collection of used cooking oil from the Royal Kitchen for conversion into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and deployed the Inthanin Mobile Café to provide complimentary beverages to officials of the Bureau of the Royal Household, royal volunteers, and personnel carrying out duties during the Royal Merit-Making Ceremonies.
The Friends in Need (of “Pa”) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society, was granted Royal Permission to deploy its mobile kitchen vehicles to establish the Royal Kitchen, preparing and distributing sticky rice with fried chicken based on the recipe of Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali Krom Muen Suddhanarinatha to members of the public paying their respects to the late Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, Krom Luang Rajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhida from 3 to 31 July 2026. The initiative reflects the aspirations of Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali, Honorary President for Life of the Foundation, and Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha, Chairperson of the Foundation, to enhance the well-being of and provide encouragement to people in times of hardship. The sticky rice with fried chicken recipe embodies Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali’s meticulous attention to every stage of preparation, ensuring that the food is hygienic, delicious, and convenient to consume.
As an expression of gratitude for Her Royal Highness’s royal benevolence and in support of the Foundation’s humanitarian mission, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, represented by Ms. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, presented Bangchak fuel cards valued at THB 500,000 to Mr. Veerasak Kowsurat, Director and Secretary-General and Dr. Saisom Wongsasuluk, Board Member and Deputy Secretary General (Fundraising) of the Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society, to support the Foundation’s ongoing humanitarian operations. In addition, BSGF Company Limited, a Bangchak Group affiliate, is collecting the used cooking oil generated from the Royal Kitchen’s food preparation and use it as feedstock for the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), transforming waste into a valuable low-carbon aviation fuel in line with the principles of the circular economy.
Bangchak Retail Company Limited has also deployed the Inthanin Mobile Café to provide complimentary beverages to officials of the Bureau of the Royal Household, royal volunteers, and personnel on duty during the Royal Merit-Making Ceremonies for Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha at Phiman Rattaya Hall, the Grand Palace. The service will continue through the completion of the 100-day royal merit-making observance on 18 September 2026.
