Mitihoon – Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) and American Express Limited (AEL) today announced an agreement to expand American Express Card acceptance across Thailand through Krungsri EDC, enabling participating Merchants to accept American Express Card payments from both local and international Card Members.
“This partnership will create new opportunities for Merchants using Krungsri EDC by enabling them to accept American Express Cards and serve a broader range of customers, including Card Members from Thailand and around the world. It also reflects Krungsri’s commitment to strengthening Thailand’s digital payments infrastructure,” said Ms. Ninlawan Jeeraboon, Krungsri Head of Transaction Banking Group.
